Cacao 

I agree I will not engage in a Cacao Ceremony if I am pregnant and I agree to speak to the  Cacao Facilitator if I have any contraindications - for example,if you do not have a  gallbladder, take antidepressants/anti-psychotics or you experience epilepsy and/or  migraines. 

 

I agree to consult with my GP before ingesting ceremonial cacao if I am taking any form of  medication or have an ongoing health concern. 

 

I agree to hydrate myself adequately with plenty of fresh water in the time leading up to a  ceremony or ingesting Cacao. Please ensure you have plenty of water to hand throughout  your ceremony be it online or in person. You will also need to drink lots of water in the days  following your ceremony. 

 

It is not advisable to eat a large meal in the two hours leading up to a ceremony. Avoiding  cow dairy intake, heavy/fatty food and caffeine on the day is also highly recommended to  make a good physical environment in your body for the cacao to arrive in. It is a good idea to  nibble on a light snack after your ceremony to ground your energy. 

 

If you are allergic to chocolate then you will also be allergic to the Cacao served at this  event. We are not responsible for allergic reactions or experiences, this is not a hallucinogen  or mind-altering substance. 

 

By participating in Aventurine Wellbeing/Aventurine Cacao Ceremonies, including ingesting  ceremonial cacao under our guidance, I assume all responsibility of any risk of injury or  damage resulting from my participation. 

 

Ecstatic Dance 

I agree that I am participating in Ecstatic Dance and/or movement class and take full  responsibility for my health and safety. I recognize that all classes and dances require  physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware  of the risks and hazards involved. 

 

I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages, known or unknown, which I might  incur as by participating in the dance or class. 

 

By participating in the dance and/or class, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any  claim I may have against any Teachers, Dancers, DJ’s, Employees, Volunteers, or anyone  else for the injury, damages, or losses that I may sustain as a result of attending this event. 

 

Yoga Nidra 

I agree that I am participating in the Yoga classes during which I will receive information and  instruction about yoga, physical exercise or health. I recognise that Yoga Nidra requires lying  on the floor, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of  the risks and hazards involved. 

 

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a Doctor prior to and regarding my  participation in the yoga nidra offered by my teacher. I represent and warrant that I am  physically fit and I have no medical condition which would prevent my full participation in  yoga nidra.

 

I agree that If I am pregnant I understand that I participate fully at my own risk and that of my  unborn child/children. 

 

I agree that In consideration of being permitted to participate in the yoga nidra, I agree to  assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or programmes offered by my instructor or  substitute teacher. 

 

Event Specific 

I am also solely responsible for my belongings, their safety, and their liability. 

In booking my space online I am agreeing that I have read and understood the above  information. 

 

I have read and fully understand and agree to the above terms of this Agreement and  Release of Waiver of Liability. I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive,  discharge and covenant not to sue any of the Venues, Owners, Leaseholders, Teachers,  Dancers, Employees, Volunteers, or anyone else for any injury, loss, or death caused by  their negligence or other acts. 

 

By booking online and attending class or Ceremony, I affirm that my attendance serves as  complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the  United Kingdom.
